Senecio Peregrinus Description
The "String of Dolphins" features fleshy, curved leaves that are attached to trailing stems which cascade beautifully over the sides of containers. Each leaf is shaped like a little dolphin, with the tips representing the nose and the curved body mimicking the dolphin's back. This plant is perfect for hanging baskets or high shelves where its vines can drape downward freely.

Light: This plant thrives in bright, indirect light. It can tolerate some direct sunlight, especially in the morning, but too much direct sun can scorch the leaves. If light conditions are too low, the "dolphins" may lose their distinctive shape as the plant stretches toward the light.
Watering: Like most succulents, the String of Dolphins prefers a "soak and dry" method for watering. Allow the soil to completely dry out between waterings, then water thoroughly. Ensure excellent drainage to avoid waterlogging, which can lead to root rot. Reduce watering in the winter when the plant's growth slows.
